Last New Year’s Eve, 2018’s New Year’s Eve at the Cioccolocanda in Vicoforte was a really big success.
Yes, because you should know that in my Cioccolocanda, for years now, I have been organizing an incredible event: a dinner with haute cuisine dishes from Piedmont. There is no shortage of truffles, Morozzo capon, mushrooms and all those flavors that a magical land like Piedmont can give,including great Wines.
But the special feature is that for 25 years I have specialized in “Cocoa Contaminations.”

If you look on TripAdvisor and various other social media, the 2018 New Year’s Eve Chocolate Dive got such wonderful reviews that it was even proclaimed event of the year.
But what does the New Year’s itinerary at the Cioccolocanda in Vicoforte consist of in detail?
Meanwhile, it all takes place precisely in Vicoforte in the province of Cuneo, inside Silvio Bessone’s artisanal chocolate factory.

At Cioccolocanda, New Year’s Eve is celebrated in a big way: eat, have fun and then sleep in Vicoforte.
One should not take unnecessary risks by traveling on the road tired and perhaps with a hangover from an evening of absolute relaxation.
Sure of this condition of total tranquility all the more reason the emotional path “Cocoa Contaminations with Chocolate Dip” was born.

Program of the evening

Check-in is possible from 3:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at the Cioccolocanda at 19 Via F. Gallo Santuario di Vicoforte in the province of Cuneo. Two facilities the Cioccolocanda and the Portici Hotel, located a hundred meters from the Cioccolocanda, are involved for the event.

A one-of-a-kind experience!

An emotional journey.

 

At 6 p.m. at the Cioccolocanda auditorium we start with a tour of Silvio Bessone’s small chocolate museum.
Magician Alberto Gemini (prestigiatorillusionist) will welcome you and accompany you along with our Mery in what will be a real dream called Chocolate.
An exciting and mouth-watering journey awaits you, starting from the cocoa seed earriva all the way to the Tablet.
And that’s not all…you can also taste the new Chocolates from the Premium line.
The tour with tasting takes about an hour, and then everyone is free to go and get ready for the evening event. At 8 p.m. the appetizer service begins with games and tricks that Magician Gemini will reserve for you: a magnificent Buffet will be at your disposal.

At 9 p.m., without delay, the dinner service will begin with the special menu designed by me, Silvio Bessone, assisted by Mirko Somà and Orlando Guzman.

The Chocobagno

To follow for those who wish, Cimento nel Cioccolato di coppia, we will provide bathrobe and slippers. A podium will be set up in the hall where the Oriental Fine Wooden Tub filled with chocolate will be placed. As soon as the ritual of greetings and toasts is over, in turn the couples who have chosen to CIMENT will be escorted to the dressing room and provided with Bathrobe and towels, Slippers and cap if required and then the fun will be free. The Cioccobagno lasts for about ten minutes, (not taxing) filming will be done for the funniest ones for the Italia uno commercial ! Guests at the end of Cioccobagno will be escorted and covered by event bathrobe to the changing rooms where they can shower with all the necessary equipment

The evening will be entertained by Magician Alberto Gemini the Illusionist.
